HS department celebrates 2005 HIGH SCHOOL DAYS

Gear Up For Silver!

So goes the theme of 2005 High School Days of Liceo de Cagayan University which took place last November 11 - 12 at the Liceo Civic Center.

Instead of having monthly departmental culminating activities of the respective departments, the administration came up with a superb joint celebration of all departments which were indeed worth the efforts of all the people behind its success.

The two-day celebration stated with a Eucharistic Celebration and was followed by the ravishing talents of the teenage Liceans representing the various departments which took place in the morning of the first day. Afterwards, the students showed off their talents for the singing, dancing and band competitions in the afternoon.

The Mathematics Department presented a magical-toy-kingdom scenario while the Science and Technology Department portrayed the current environmental problems through a jingle. The Languages Department had their production through Broadway musicals and the serenades of the Ibong Adarnas. Moreover, the TLE Department presented a nutri-jingle and the Values Education sector rendered a verse-choir performance about the life of Jesus Christ. And since the celebration covers up the whole High School community, they gathered their very own Rodelsa Arts Club and the pride of Liceo when it comes to music, the High School Rondalla as well.

Likewise, the affair is not only for the students to enjoy but also for the teachers who displayed their athletic competitiveness through ball games during the second day.

This proves that the Liceo de Cagayan University High School Department is still competitive not only in academic performances but also in other phases as it reaches its 25th year in service next year.
