8th INTEL PHILIPPINES SCIENCE FAIR: LDCU HS Juniors Win 1st Place in Reg'l Level

Investigatory Project (IP) team of LDCU high school juniors bagged 1st place (Physical and Applied Science - Team Category) in the recently concluded 8th Intel Philippines Science Fair-Regional Level. The contest was held last Dec. 8-10 at Mindanao Civic Center in Tubod, Lanao del Norte. It was participated by various schools throughout Region 10.

Gladys Joan T. Cabading, Genevieve U. Lazarte, Angelie C. Masihod, and Leonil A. Bergonia are the proponents of the winning project with the title: "The Investigation of the Fibrous Substance in Green Algae (Ulva taeniata) as an Alternative Component for Fiberboard."

The winners, together with their coach Engr. Felix Nistal, shall be representing Region 10 in the upcoming National Level.
